Fantastic senior Business Development opportunity with a leader in their field.

The primary responsibility of the role is to support new business development with new opportunities. The role will
support the packaging division to ensure that growth targets are met. Working closely with the business
development teams and clients, this role will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities,
including planning through the bid process, and effectively articulating our clients packaging proposition and solutions
through client facing documentation and presentations, delivered to the highest standard and on brand. This role
will have a strong focus on developing business led from the packaging operation.
Specific area of responsibility
? Strong consultative selling skills with a proven ability of understanding client opportunities & creating
? Winning new business in line with the sales plan
? Establish business development pipeline by building on existing network opportunities
? To be conversant with the key market trends, changing client requirements and competitor activity
? Generate leads that fit the ideal client profile in conjunction with the prospecting process
? Building revenue and profits from new clients
? Monitor progress of proposals, plans and objectives
? Cross-selling / Up-selling
? Pioneering solutions development in conjunction with other functions of the business
Person Specification
? Outstanding communication (verbal & written) skills
? Excellent engagement skills both internally and externally
? Proven ability to sell at COO/CPO/CMO level
? Experience selling large scale packaging supply arrangements into B2C and B2B clients
? Minimum 8 – 10 years Business Development experience
? Continual quest to obtain new knowledge and be involved new opportunities
? Highly organised and strong attention to detail
? Continually exceeds their business targets
? Outstanding consultative sales approach with the ability to form strong working
? A real can do will do attitude. Does not recognise boundaries and thrives in an environment of opportunity,
