Our client, a dynamic, technology led print and Innovations Company seeks a proven sales person able to engage at all levels to develop and sustain a customer base within the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will support existing house accounts while tasked to build new business delivering a comprehensive portfolio of capabilities.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• generate and qualify leads
• source and develop client referrals
• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• develop and maintain a customer database use corporate CRM tool
• develop and maintain sales and promotional materials (alongside Marketing)
• make sales calls to new and existing clients
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• develop sales proposals
• maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
• respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, email or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management (MIR)
• participate in sales events
• monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Education and Experience
• knowledge of relevant computer applications (MSWord)
• knowledge of principles and practices of sales
• knowledge of customer service principles
• knowledge of basic business principles
• experience in direct sales – (preferably within print &/or associated market place)
• experience in making presentations
• proven ability to achieve sales targets
