An established print and packaging company which provides bespoke services to a large and diverse range of customers has an opening for a professional with a solid understanding of print and/or packaging processes to manage an Estimating Team.
Applicants must have a good knowledge of a recognised MIS system including the print estimating and ordering modules, along with experience of developing the estimating side of this software.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in managing a small team, who is confident in his/her capabilities of delegating to subordinates and communicating with superiors from other divisions of the organisation. You must also be proactive in developing strategies and solutions to ensure the department and the systems run smoothly and accurately.
The ideal candidate must exhibit flexibility and a capability of coping under pressure, taking an organised approach to all tasks to meet strict deadlines, whilst providing Excellent Customer Service to both an internal team and external clients.
Good communication skills are essential for this role, both verbal and written, with an ability to use e-mail and Microsoft Office software packages as you will be expected to liaise with outwork suppliers to negotiate and obtain correct prices.
